He's a slightly off-kilter geek whos written a mother of an essay about how to make an seed AI that will then go on and make a better version of itself, etc... Meanwhile im still trying to code a Neural net that can win at connect4... Anyways, here is his big essay http://www.singinst.org/GISAI.html (at the Singularity Institute for AI no less) Oh well. It's a nice idea. But if its been done, its hiding at the bottom of a NSA cellar, and hopefully is emotionless enough so that its not going to seek any glory for itself.
